Event log: Mirror, mirror

Who: Anyone and everyone!
What: Hope gives everyone mirrors with visions of their most hopeful future inside.
Where: Throughout the city.
When: March 14th-18th
Warnings: None so far!

On March 14th, all characters will stumble across mirrors at some point on their daily journey. Maybe your mirror is right under your pillow, maybe it's on your bedside table, or in the sink in your bathroom. It could be in a random store that you're scavenging, or somewhere along the path that you're taking to go to a friend's place. Wherever it is, it's positioned perfectly for you to find it- though you might want to be quick so someone else doesn't nab it first.

Each mirror is predetermined to hold one person's future and will be placed somewhere that they can find it on that day. Upon looking in their own mirrors, each character will see a version of their future that will fill them with hope. This vision has to be possible- or they have to think it's possible- even if it's unlikely. Picking up someone else's mirror will not change the image inside; you'll instead see that person's vision for their future.

In addition, during the first four days, until March 18th, characters will want to look into any mirror they can find, not just their own. So be a little careful if you want to guard your innermost hopes- someone might be trying to peek.

[ Bianca isn't the only one who's been out and about looking for distractions. Pell doesn't even have walking his pets as an excuse, he's just wandering aimlessly. He's sitting out by the lake now with his own mirror in his lap, and feels Bianca approach while he's still staring out at the water. A glance over his shoulder confirms it; she's walking along with her hyenas on either side, seemingly lost in thought. She feels... different. He can't quite place it.

Over here, he tells them all, all three, and the hyenas at least stop and look at him. Bianca will know which way to turn. ]

[She doesn't exactly smile to see him, but a certain peacefulness relaxes her shoulders - someone she won't have to explain to is a huge relief.

And then Bud and Lou yip and yowl cheerfully and barrel towards their new friend, rebounding off Pell to rush back and push Bianca towards him, and by the time she's actually there, she's at least outwardly cheerful.]

Do you think there are monsters in the lake? I hadn't thought to ask.

[ There's an echo between them of the same emotions, and he knows it probably has to do with her mirror. He won't ask. As for what's off, Pell doesn't have time to consider it before Bud and Lou are pouncing him, kissing his face and running back to their mistress to usher her over. He reaches out to them as the three return, petting them affectionately. ]

I don't think so, or at least they haven't shown themselves. Everyone warned me off the caves but no one mentioned the lake.

There are no fish either, though. It reminds me of home.
