[ Gojyo has found himself sitting next to Hermann, which (given the rest of the present company) is a pretty decent situation (for Gojyo, at least), since Hermann has yet to straight-up call him an idiot. Mr. Sha has alarmingly low standards.

He's actualy drinking the wine they brought, although he's holding the glass wrong. ]

So are you guys workin' on any crazy stuff? [ He gestures vaguely with his glass. ] Science stuff?

[ Distressingly low standards. Though Hermann has much higher standards, they do not much apply to how one holds a wine glass, especially the slightly wrong sort used by the previous inhabitants. ]

[ Hermann debates his answers, considering Mr. Sha over the rim of his glass as he sips.

The man fully deserves a load of nonsense. He won't keep it up, or anything. What is an appropriately crazy sounding thing? ]

[Newt's wound up sitting across the table from the two of them, and his head jerks towards Hermann at that, to stare at him in surprise for a moment, before his teeth are sinking into his bottom lip, the corners of his eyes crinkling, all mirth. Newt has always been significantly worse at hiding anything than Hermann.]

The bat has a new GPS system we're installing, so we're going to use it to seek out anyone who lies about their doctorates. Can't have anyone else besmirching our good name as doctors. [making an attempt to hide his grin in his wine glass]

[Hakkai watches the exchange and dips a vegetable in the broth pot with a smile on his face.]

You barely have a name here as a doctor. You are adamant about disavowing the title at every opportunity. You don't get to use it now to undercut Mr. Sha.

[ Though born in 1989, every other one of his attributes keeps Hermann from leaping to the conclusion that Mr. Hakkai is make a dick joke. Instead he catches himself before taking a bite, glancing between the two, gauging.

Yes, well... in all seriousness, it's nothing like that. We've largely been helping Dr. Banner with his garden, that takes some precedence. I've had to give up on much of my application pursuits while the phones are malfunctioning. We hope to look into the appliances and machinery here, and perhaps setting up another space.

I don't suppose any of you know anything about construction or architecture?
