my childhood spat back out the monster that you see - closed
Who: The UD crew, Carlisle, Glacius, possibly Nick Rivenna (tag urselves, frands)
What: Possessed by a pride demon, Emily turns into an abomination and attacks her housemates. Chaos ensues.
Where: House #1503
When: November 21st
Warnings: Demonic possession, violence, maybe body horror idk it's a transformation, possibly blood and broken bones, death x 2, fighting. Will edit if anything else comes up.
She'd meant it as a joke.
"Shit, if I could like, make a deal to get my boobs back so I'm not flat as a board here, I might do it."
She wouldn't, of course, because Emily's not a fucking idiot. However, demons don't care about that. They just see opportunity and take it. In another context, Emily might even respect that, but this being shithole cavetown, she's not here for this.
Before she even realizes it's happened (long enough for her to see her breasts do in fact seem bigger), Emily stops being Emily and becomes something monstrous. The abomination doesn't see friends anywhere in the house, only things to test out its new magic on (sorry, Carlisle; bet you never expected glyphcrafting to be used like this) and to kill when they stop being useful.
It starts by blowing Emily and Matt's bedroom door to bits. Satisfied, it walks through the doorframe and down the hall, more than ready to attack.

Sam knows it is happening, but her mind is torn against acknowledgment of reality and desperate wishing for an alternative. She thought, stupidly, that they were - well, not exactly safe, because who knew what horrors each new day in this place would bring, but safe enough, as long as she and her friends all stuck together, behind the walls and locked doors of this house.
This thing that's got control of Emily - this is worse than the wendigos getting inside the lodge, and it's worse than discovering Josh was the one who'd attacked her. It's something awful sneaking in and taking over one of her friends - the only one of her friends she'd been able to save, that night on the mountain - and turning her against everyone else in the house.
This can't be happening, but it is, and Sam's is determined to put a stop to it.]
Em, stop. Please. I - I don't want to hurt you.
[But the baseball bat in her hand means that she's prepared to do so, if it's necessary - if it will keep the others safe.]
i did not intend for the baseball joke but i ran with it im sry
Well, why not play with her.
It traces a symbol on its palm, raises the arm to gather energy onto the glyph. When the energy orb is the size of a baseball, it launches it at Sam.
Batter up.]
never be sorry <3
Em, please - you don't want to do this! I know you don't.

Emily is gone, Sam. She got what she wanted, and now she's gone.
[It slowly draws a glyph in the air. Slowly, because it knows that Sam can't hurt it, and it wants to bask in Sam's fear.]

You can't be serious! Emily would never want to become - whatever it is you are.
[She is afraid - more afraid for her own life and the lives of her friends than she's been since the mountain. But she won't back down. She can't.]
Em, please, I know you're still in there somewhere - fight this.

[When the glyph is complete, it presses its palm against it, activating a gust of wind that heads right for Sam. It's still not sure how it's going to kill Sam, but it knows it's going for spectacle.]

What are you?!

[The abomination lowers its hand and gives a sharp smirk at the sight of Sam on the floor. It killed Matt with a glyph on the chest, drawn in his own blood. Sam's death must be different.]
I am magnificence in physical form. I am invincible and unstoppable. I take misused talents and take them beyond what anyone could ever have imagined.
[As it speaks, it traces another glyph in the air. When activated, it will crush Sam's heart (such a loving human, so brave) and all but literally fry her brain. It will be quick, but she will bleed tears, a pretty sight for the rest of her little friends to see.]
Emily is dead, Sam. Matt is dead. Now it's your turn.
[It gives a second's pause and activates the glyph, smirk wide as it watches her die.]
