Oh, this? This feels much better. It's been such a long time since Yukari has gotten to let his blood lust course through him so truly. And he's already witnessed what these paintballs can do. With everyone on edge, it has truly turned into the so-delightful game of hunter vs the hunted. And it's here Yukari truly feels like himself.

He's been fast as lightning and his normally lilted chuckle has taken a darker turn. He can be heard humming a tune in some places as he calmly walks the terrain, unafraid to be spotted. Any bullets that come at him, he is quick to deflect them with his sword. He's using this as an opportunity to use his skills to their full abilities. And today, he's feeling particularly adamant about it.

When he sees you in his line of sight, he shoots a flash of green electricity in your direction. Because let's face it, he's not going to play fair as he lures you to either challenge him or flee. Good luck to you, as you'll probably need it.

Curufin is stalking the streets as well, but he sticks to the shadows, as he is getting such a kick out of shooting at people before they become aware of him.

He has been hunting on the west bank of the river, scaring the crap out of people in the moped lot. He gets tired of that after a while and crosses the bridge back to the other side. As he is rounding the corner of Delight's Temple, he hears somebody humming. Very familiar voice!

And then the flash of green electricity comes at him. He throws himself to one side and laughs. Yukari never did like to fight fair.

"You missed me." He grins at his lover, swings up the paintball gun, fires, and runs for the nearest cover. (Delight's temple.)

Yukari chuckles airily, darkly, and deflects the shot as he swiftly pursues his mate to Delight's Temple. He certainly doesn't show any restraint that his opponent is Curufin.

In fact...

"Curu-chan~ Come out, come out, wherever you are~." He uses an honourific, even the most formal kind, as he taunts Curufin. His steps are steady, calm, almost eerie. This time, when he sends out a jolt of Electricity, it's in a 360 radius and jolts at a high enough voltage to leave burns in its wake, as he observes for the slightest bit of movement, ready to aim and fire at a second's notice.

The fields are dim around the temple, and it is not hard to vanish into the darkness. Curufin feels a crackle in the atmosphere and dives for the ground before he reaches the temple itself. He swiftly lifts his sword and charges it up with his own power, and uses it to deflect Yukari's Electricity as it surges towards him.

And then, because the mercenary may have seen a blue-white flash associated with that deflection, Curufin changes his location. He low-crawls to some scrubby vegetation and conceals himself in it.

He does not reply to his lover's verbal provocation, not wanting to give his position away prematurely. But he smiles in the darkness. Come get me.

The second Yukari sees the flash of blue, he charges at it, his sword at the ready to deflect bullets, and his gun aiming as he scans the field. Though, to no one's particular surprise, he doesn't see Curufin anywhere. And Yukari gives an airy chuckle. Of course Curufin is well-experienced in the hands of war. Yukari would disappointed if Curufin were an easy target.

"Come on, now~ Playing hard to get?" He clicks his tongue in playful disapproval. "I suppose I'll just have to give more effort."

With that, nigh-invisible appendages arise around him and slash forward in all directions, looking for a prey to grasp or strike.

"I'm always hard to get," chuckles Curufin, giving away his position. "At least. . . when somebody's gunning for me."

And he wriggles quietly between the roots of the brush he is using for cover. If Yukari aims his energies at him again, he won't be where he was when he spoke.

And when he sees those appendages striking in his direction, he rolls suddenly, comes up on his feet, and darts across the few yards remaining to the front entrance of Delight's temple. He wards off one of those tentacles with his sword's crackling energy and vanishes into the open front doors.
