[He only has a vague knowledge about it from Szilard, though he doesn't care to dig too deeply beyond knowing that it's something of a hot topic among scientists in his day (or right before Szilard bit it, since Firo doesn't keep up with these things).
As he speaks, Firo gradually makes his way over to Nick's table and takes one of the seats across from him as casually as he can. He's in this venture with Rey, so he can sit wherever he pleases, right? So what if it happens to be near where Nick already is? Firo can reassure himself and any imaginary observers that it's only because he's curious and pumping the guy for information, it's not like they're hanging out.]
