If there's anyone other than Rey who hopes this never happens again, it's definitely Nick. He makes a mental note to tie up a few loose threads once he's done here, ones that could unravel her memory if left hanging: he needs to call Henry and make sure he knows not to bring up Maketh, then maybe ask around the Clinic for who might've patched Rey that day during the Null invasion. If it keeps Rey in one piece, it's worth looking into.
"I'm gonna hold you to that," he says as he gives Rey's hand another squeeze, drawing in a long breath and getting to his feet. "There's more we need to talk about, but let's focus on one thing at a time. It's nothing that can't wait a little while longer."
