There's something in that sentiment that draws a dry chuckle from Nick, barely a rattle in the back of his throat. He might be a machine, but he's just about as tired as the cat on Rey's lap. They're all tired at this point. Rey isn't wrong, though -- she had a number of people worried about her, maybe more than even Rey herself ever expected.

"You'd have done the same," he notes, as he always does. Next time she doubts herself or questions how anyone could care about her, he'll be showing her the transcripts of that broadcast. Rey might not see her own value, but to so many others, she was worth trying to save.
