Glacius' sentiment gets a smile out of his partner. Carlisle used to be so hesitant to the idea of others seeing them romantically entangled, so private about his life that he could not stand the thought of others knowing what he may or may not be doing behind closed doors -- he still is, at times. He doesn't want others to cast judgment upon him for who he is, nor upon Glacius for his choices. Of all the humans in Hadriel, Glacius could have done better, he has always considered.
Of course, he has also told Glacius to ignore what others would think in the past -- that those who matter would never think ill of them. He has never been very good at following his own advice. However, when Glacius reciprocates his bid for affection and attention, agrees to his ideas, Carlisle feels that much better about them. He positively beams, just thinking of their potential outing. "As do I."
His hand slides down further, his fingers threading through Glacius' as he settles on the couch and gives the alien a gentle tug to join him. "Come now. We both need to rest. And if you're feeling well enough, I'd prefer we do it together."
