Swift was not entirely certain he believed that it wasn't at least partly his fault. He'd insisted on talking and now Seel was falling apart and as much as he tried to flail around and hold him together, the pieces kept slipping through his fingers. He tried to help but it felt like he was only making it worse.

Until Seel's revelation and then he couldn't breathe for a moment. What was he even supposed to say to that?
