There Can Be Only One
Who: Tucker, Newt, and anyone else!
What: everyone watches a cheesy 80s movie
Where: Newt's House
When: backdated to the 4th (oops)
Warnings: none atm
[Tucker's making good on both his long-ago threat to Rey and his more-recent promise: a movie-watching party!
Newt's living room has been all set up for this shindig, so show up whenever and get ready to watch the most over-dramatic, cheesy, 80s-est action movie of all time, Highlander. It's bad, it's good, it's one of Tucker's favorites.
The lab's supercomputer has been dragged over here and set up against one wall, so you get to see this thing in full holographic projection. Various chairs, couches, and ottomans have been gathered from all around the city for seating, and a table has been covered in snacks. There are some chips, some candy, and like, a thousand boxes of Girl Scout cookies. BYOB, though.
Tucker is seated in a weird furry chair, and he's got the controls, so you'd better be nice to him.]
[OOC: feel free to post toplevels, mingle, do whatever!]

[That makes sense, in a weird way, although it strikes him as maybe... unintentionally condescending too. But Tucker obviously means it in a positive way, and Kiran's not from his world, so he lets the thought go.]
Now, hold on. Is the version we just watched the same one you got in your world? Or does the version you know have some elves and dwarves and stuff in it?

[He gestures toward where the case is sitting, up by the computer.]
It was an all-human cast. That kinda thing was more common in the 80s.
