It seemed that the entire city had decided to trust the food and drink provided by the recovered Hope, and though her wariness had not abated, she made her way to the designated space with a vow to at least be cautious.
The sight, when she gets there, is - well, something. So many of her fellow captives in one place, celebrating and enjoying a hugely diverse selection from the table spread out before them. Early in the day, the young queen is quietly observing, not conversing much, and instead trying to assess whether or not the entire scenario is as dangerous as she feared, or if it's really just a display of gratitude after all.
Near the middle of the day, Dany has settled in with a small collection of pickings that she'd been able to identify from the rest as things she'd eaten before. In front of her, then, is a plate holding skewers of meat (spiced lamb), a bed of grains, a few varieties of dried and roasted fruits, chickpeas, and a kind of yogurt with honey and pomegranate seeds. There is also a jug of persimmon (and one of pear, too) wine nearby, but she seems more interested, and transfixed by, the foods for the moment. ]
How do they know...? [ She breathes, eyes wide.
Later, the silver queen has clearly had a bit of wine, and there is a rosy flush to her otherwise-pale cheeks. Dany is more liberal with her conversations and smiles, will easily offer to her opinions, and is delighted to share the wine from her past experiences with those who join her at the table. ]
It's sweet, if you can stomach it. [ She hums, offering a glass of one or the other to anyone nearby.
Luckily for everyone, there's no sign of Dothraki horse jerky. ]
