Oh he's had extended conversations with women, it was just never really about warfare. That was an entirely new area for him. Also he was quite certain pants weren't really acceptable attire in young ladies after they were like, four. There were a lot of new things Kelson was getting used too. He was used to women he was close too, who he considered like family, looking him in the eye, but others, like his novice nun Rothana had a tendency to keep their eyes demurely downcast and respectful. Unless she was angry.....which was really incredibly alluring. He supposed in the back of his mind that marriage might not have worked, no matter how much he wanted it too. It certainly wouldn't have been placid.

Still he listened to what she said, he'd be a poor king if he didn't know how to listen to people who knew more than he did. "What do you mean?" He pointedly ignored the 'gods' part. "They don't know how people function? I would imagine that came from having individuals from different kingdoms and worlds. That is quite a difference."
