It is probably hard for species who do not have them to tell what exactly causes the gentle undulations in the side of his neck.

The other inquiries are easier for him to address. "Most of it is, I believe, but broken up and scattered between four main islands. It is somewhat problematic to be separated like this, given that the ocean distances between them are both long and less safe the deeper out you go. If you have a vessel, you will likely be fine, but I have not seen any of those yet... perhaps some will band together to make them? It would be useful."
