"Must make it easy to keep your figure."   Abigail says it sarcastically.   She can see the advantage of not eating, especially never being tricked into eating creepy meals. Still, she'd miss good food.

Abigail shrugs  "I guess so. I did what I thought would be easiest on me in the past.  It ended badly.  I know better now."  At least, she likes to think she's wiser now.  If her father or Hannibal were to arrive, she'd still be tempted to run to them.
