[Peter had been with Nate when he found the clips, so he's had time to let everything sink in already. And to, y'know, get all the panicking out of his system. But shhh. He's either come to terms with it all or he's really good at faking it, but either way he doesn't seem all that freaked out about all this when Nate goes over it.

When Nate wraps up, Peter hesitantly puts his hand up, and then immediately and kind of awkwardly lowers it again because this isn't high school, come on dude.]

I, uh. It's um, not really a new discovery or anything, but I have a theory? What if the hosts didn't escape from these labs. What if the Null let them out? I mean, we don't know a ton about their technology, but the idea of them being able to remotely access these locations isn't really all that far fetched if you consider what we do know about them. I can't think of a reason why they would just abandon their tech like this, and that goes for what they implanted into the hosts as well. I think that, even if the Null aren't directly controlling the hosts, there's no reason that they wouldn't be able to still keep track of them. Where they're going, what they're doing, what they're seeing. I think the gods are wrong. I think the Null already know where we are.

[He'd been right about the hosts attacking the city coming from the mountains, he really hopes he's not right about this. I mean it could just be his imagination going off on a tangent, he has seen a lot of movies after all.]
