Glacius smiles broadly in response to that, pausing to give Carlisle an appreciative nod... but then his focus ultimately must shift back to the icy slope beneath them. It would not do to lose his footing and slip right after his partner has expressed such trust in them!

As it turns out, the trust is well-placed; the alien's natural affinity for and thorough experience with such terrain means that they make it all the way to the bottom with little hassle. Once there, the ice alien carefully sets his partner down, assessing him fully.
