I am fuckin' fantastic.

[ He props himself up on his elbows with some difficulty and looks back at the trees—but as soon as he registers that puddle of blood he shoots up, wriggling out of his jacket. He should probably be checking to make sure his back isn't full of holes, but he's…making sure his jacket's okay. It's sort of the same thing!! ]
