There's a secret burning in your chest. It's hot behind your ribcage, and you need to let it out or else it might consume you- but who would you tell? Who could even begin to understand what you need to say? Your closest friend? Your significant other? Maybe even someone you don't get along with very well? It's hard to know who to trust and who will even understand, but in a strange way, neither of those things seem to matter- all you can think of is what will cause someone the most pain.

Maybe you're trying to get it out in the open so you can put it behind you. Maybe you just need to come clean because the guilt is eating you alive. Maybe you just really want to hurt someone- regardless of the reason, you're aching to tell someone else your darkest secrets.

Will they understand? There's only one way to find out, and it won't be pleasant for either party involved. Good luck, Hadriel!

What exactly do you gain? Just scientific observation?

[Yeah, she's a vampire, and the Visitor probably can't kill her, but being mauled still has to hurt, right? Is seeing the monster really worth it?]

Is that really something that's a just? Scientific observation is worth a lot-- especially for you, given you clearly don't understand everything about this creature just yet.

[He sighs.]

I guess we can try it. Whenever you, uh, want to take the risk. I'm not really sure how to, um, prepare for that sort of thing? Maybe don't wear nice clothes? I guess we could use the Coliseum...

[He is suddenly taking this very seriously.]

The Coliseum will suffice. I'll defend myself, and further, I'll be able to sense if anyone is approaching, and warn them away. How fast is he? I assume I'm faster, but it never hurts to be certain.

I mean, I've never like, timed it?

[He's not exactly awake to hold a stopwatch.]

I know it's fast, but probably like, animal-fast. Maybe not vampire-fast. Except, wait, how fast is vampire-fast?

[Listen there's a limited amount of supernatural stuff he actually understands.]

[Rosalind pauses, then holds up a finger. Takes a few steps back, until she's on the other side of the lab.]

Ready?

[--set go, and within two seconds she's next to him, a rush of breathless energy, terrifying in how swift it is. She grins, baring those fangs.]
