[It's a conversation that mattered a lot to her- still does, if she thinks about it. It's the time she and Lup became friends, when Lup proved she would sacrifice time and energy to just come make sure Alphys was happy and smiling. They barely knew each other as far as Alphys was concerned, a relationship still budding, and it was one of those things she'll hold precious in her memories of the other woman.

So she smiles when Lup accepts, catches the gist, and Alphys pulls her through her hand towards the kitchen.]
