"In the end, that is all I truly want," Glacius responds somberly. He's met some very kind beings in this city, but every time a human reacts to him with fear or confusion is another stabbing reminder of what an outsider he will always be at the end of the day. Besides, everything he's suffered in his long life up to this point has been for his people, in the hopes that he might safeguard them and the homeworld and one day return. It's a driving force in his life.
"Has anyone ever made any attempts to escape from this place? Has their ever been an organized effort?" He asks, his voice lowered. It's probably safer to discuss this sort of thing here than on the network, where anyone can listen in... but even though he's skeptical of their powers as true gods, it's hard not to imagine the beings that oversee this place listening in.
