"I know. I will if I do." After that, Gansey quietly stares at the ceiling for a long time, just listening to the rhythm of Noah's breathing. He might not be very happy with the other boy--with any of his friends--but it's still a comforting sound. Noah is alive. Gansey himself is still alive. There's a silent 'for now' on the end of both statements, but they're alive. It's not really Noah that Gansey needs to talk to, though. It's Ronan, it's Adam. And he's not entirely sure he wants to have this conversation, even though he also wants to stomp downstairs and demand answers. Is it better to wait until morning? This is hardly breakfast conversation. He's not his father. So, why didn't either of you bother to tell me that I'm not going to live to see graduation? is not a question to be asked over frosted flakes.

"Do you think I'll become a ghost too?" The words are soft, and after such a long silence, it wouldn't be surprising if Noah has fallen asleep.
