infinite1up: (This is war)

Almost as quizzical as the monster, Sato looks back to Rey, doing the comparison. What exactly is going on here? Oh, he understands the blatant threat, and that he's missing whatever pieces of the puzzle connect this thing to Rey. The question is more the why and the how. He'd never had the impression that anything or anyone else from Rey's time was here. So why was this happening?

"That looks like an invitation. It'd be rude to refuse, Rey." For all of the grotesque show, there's little change in his tone beyond the hint of a more serious edge to the smile.

A piece of rubble gets kicked somewhere off in the darkness, skittering across the pavement, and the light flickers off a weapon of some kind in a small grey hand. Sato's head swings a little to the right and left, scanning the darkness. He's not worried, but he's starting to get the feeling that maybe there's a little more danger to this excursion than he was expecting.

He likes it.
