Who: Rin and OPEN
What: Confusion and powers on the fritz.

Warnings: Language? Rin's a potty mouth. I don't think there's anything else to worry about. Will update if needed.
A. Monster Mash
Great, somehow Rin has gotten lost. He doesn't know how he got here, he just knows he's there. Isn't that a proverb or something? Still, the situation doesn't seem too bad. The worst that seems to happen is that he can't retrace his steps for some reason. Weird...
The place he ends up in seems pretty creepy. Quiet, dark, where is he? He sticks a hand on the wall and tries to use it to guide him out, but... no luck. Did he go deeper in?!
"Shit..." Rin mutters under his breath as he looks around the depths of the cave. If he's lost, he might not be able to get out of these caves again. Maybe he can put a message on the Network to ask for help? Someone would probably respond, right? He pulls the phone out of his pocket, trying to get the video stream to work. He can't tell if he's having problems making it work because he's still new to it, or because he can't really see what he's doing. But he's just more confused. What were Jo's instructions again?
But, before he can figure it out, he gets swiped at and he's knocked to the floor by a monster.
"Owww!" Rin sits up and rubs his head, seeing the monster before him. Well... he's got some pent-up frustrations he needs to vent at this point. Sure. The monster attacked first, so it's fair game. Rin jumps up and grins, grabbing his sword. If nothing else, he'll feel better after this. As the monster turns toward him, Rin draws his sword.
But something's amiss. Rin's eyes widen as he re-sheathes and redraws his sword again and again.
"Hey, where are my Flames?!" Can he fight a monster without them? "SHIT!" Rin scrambles as he tries to figure out where his flames went.
B. We Didn't Start The Fire
Rin's frustrated. Just... Seriously, what the Hell? How did he get so lost? He lets out a low roar to vent his anger. This would never have happened if he had Kuro. Going out to get food proved to be more complicated than it should ever be. He can't even find the orchards he saw on the day he arrived.
"God... DAMNIT!" He yells at no one in particular. At this rate, he won't make it home before nightfall. Not that he can't rough it, but he'd really rather not. Especially since finding food is already proving to be a problem.
Seriously... how did he get so lost? Rin huffs through his nose as he stops in his tracks, scratching his head and looking around to try and get his bearings. There has to be something he did wrong, right? He'd take food over home. A growling stomach is harder to deal with than not having a warm bed. He sighs, trying to retrace his steps to see if he just made a wrong turn somewhere. But nothing is looking familiar. If anything, he's twice as lost as he was ten minutes ago.
Maybe it's a trick? Could a demon be behind this mess? ...Not that he ever stayed awake in class to know if there were demons capable of such things. He grumbles to himself as he wanders around, trying to find anything familiar at this point. A friend, a building, a tree. This is becoming more difficult the harder he tries.
All of a sudden, though, as he's trudging along, his body becomes encompassed in Blue Flames.
"Hoshit!" Rin instinctively grabs his sword and looks it over. But it's sealed. His brows knit together in confused concern. He would wonder what's going on, except... "Shit! Calm down, calm down, calm down!" He's desperately trying to get his Flames to go away, but it seems like the harder he tries, the more he glows. Crap! Why is this happening?!
Rin panics as he tries to hide himself from passerby. And to no avail. You can't really hide with bright blue fire coming from your body. People are going to know his secret and it's going to be the end of the world. Triple shit...

Up the street there's a sudden flash of blue and instead of running from it she runs forward, just in case. And then she finds the source of that blue light and freezes for a moment.
"Uh, Rin?"

Very, very stiffly, he tries to pass it off casually.
"O-oh, h-hi, Jo." He gives the stiffest, yet biggest, smile he can manage. Mentally, he tries to repress the Flames again. Still nothing. The worst thing about knowing he's going to die at home is that it really isn't his fault this time. He swallows hard, trying to make the knot in his throat go away.
"Uhh... W-what are you doing here?"

"I'm lost." So lost. She isn't even sure where she's been recently. Everything feels like a jumble.
"Are you okay? What's going on?"

Of course, he's been lost, too. Maybe there really is something going on here. Awkwardly, he reaches out a hand to set on Jo's shoulder, but he hesitates. He doesn't want his Flames to accidentally burn her, especially if he has no control over them right now. He frowns as he puts his hand back down.
He feels his throat tighten as he tries to think of how to answer that.
"Y-yea! Yea, I'm totally fine!" More fake smiling and he throws a half-laugh in as he scratches the back of his head. "I'm just... out for a walk."
He's trying so hard to think of what excuse to make for his Blue Flames, but he's getting nothing but a blank. Trying to explain himself out of trouble might well be impossible.

"Have you always been able to do that?" Her attitude towards powers had changed quickly when she got here. Probably faster than it should have, but she also didn't want to get into trouble not trusting someone. Or trusting someone too much.
