taxxons.

[ His poor, sweet children. They sleep beneath the earth. He walks and knows he does not walk alone for they are one with the rock and stone beneath his feet. The creatures before him may wish to eat, but they are far hungrier. Just before he could let them engage in their bloodlust, in the act of devouring that which wanted to devour, he hears such unfamiliar words that give pause.

He takes a step backwards as the monstrosities is hacked at with a sword -- he did not even realize they had cornered anything over their massive size. There is only mild disappointment at the burning of the blood for it is overtaken at the surprise at seeing another elf.

His breath catches in his throat. For a moment, for such a long moment, he forgets how to breathe. But he soon remembers when the burn in his chest takes hold. Yaha steps forward with a wide smile upon his face -- wider and far more deranged than what he means -- as he looks the other elf over, walking over the corpses, over the pieces, of the monsters left behind. ]

How wonderful.
