[Rifts have opened up around the city, releasing a new form of monster for them to deal with. As one of the city guard, Jill felt the need to go out and help as many people as she could. She wasn't sure how, but she'd kill a demon or get someone to safety. Something had to be done.
She geared up with a crossbow, bolts, and then her sidearm and clips. Hopefully, she won't have to use any of the precious bullets to deal with the situation, but if a life was on the line, she wouldn't hesitate to do what she must.
When she thinks she hears voices down the street, she hurries to investigate and calls out.]
Hello? This is Jill Valentine of the city guard. Does anyone need help?
Middle - In Fear's Grip
[It started at home. Jill was taking a rest with every intention of going back out again later tonight to help anyone she could. She showered, brushed her blond hair, changed into a pair of black tights and a comfy over-sized t-shirt, and curled up on a chair with a cup of coffee. That's when she saw it. And she ran.
She grabbed her shoes and bolted right out the door, not stopping for an instant. By the time she was finished, it was exhaustion that made her sink to the ground, her heart beating so hard it felt as though it would burst in her chest. Jill grabbed her hair and shook. God, what was this? She was so damn afraid. There was no way. No way she could go back to her apartment.
As the night crept on, she moved into the entrance of an alley between two buildings and hugged her knees to her chest.]
Nonono... nono... please no...
[Someone passing by just might hear the woman, terrified beyond belief. Jill, normally so collected, a rock in the face of danger, was whimpering like a child.]
