There wasn't enough time to completely get out of the way, it still hit him right on the side as he dodged. It knocked him to the ground but he managed to keep a hold on his blaster.
He quickly shook his head, forcing himself to sit up despite the pain. Teeth gritted, he fired off a couple of shots when it seemed like Ahsoka was focused on the demon. He aimed lower, for her knees instead where he thought she wouldn't be blocking. If he could take her down, it would work to his advantage.
