Glacius growls with indecision--this would be much easier if he actually understood what was happening to Carlisle right now. He doesn't realize that the man's energy is constantly cycling, he just assumes that it can't properly flow until the foreign object has been removed... but if it can't flow to begin with thanks to his waning strength, then he'll have created an open wound in the man's back for nothing. He has to trust the clergyman on this one... but trust is not exactly something he's feeling for the human as freely as he used to. Instead, the sharp tone reminds him too much of the one his double had taken, and the alien's face tightens unhappily.
