Though he's quiet as they make their way back to their shared home, that look of frustration remains, dulled only by the exhaustion so evident in his frame. He can't possibly know what his double had in store for Glacius, can't even guess the twin would try to cripple the connection the two of them share. He'd been so worried that the alien would be compelled to do something horrible that he doesn't even consider the other ways wounds can be inflicted.

"I was so afraid, Glacius," he admits, finally finding his voice. It's softer now. "I'm... used to that for me, but..."

He swallows. He'd felt a rarity in that moment when he'd pushed himself to his feet, forcing himself to walk to the stairs despite the pain flooding through him: he was more afraid for someone else than himself.
