"You drink too much," the double scoffs, apparently not as concerned with being discrete--or maybe it's just that he's simply too preoccupied to put as much effort into it right now. "Besides, didn't we just agree that you need to be staying in bed? You shouldn't move around too much until you have recovered fully... and... I need you here."

In a small, enclosed space where he can be used to lure his original, and where he'll be too close to the inevitable conflict for Glacius to act out too much. He knows that saying as much won't make the clergyman particularly inclined to play along, however, so instead he trains his voice towards something more familiar.
