Even after the long-winded explanation of unnecessary details, he isn't treated with glazed eyes or disinterest. In fact, his story sounds rather familiar. And still too early to draw any quick conclusions. After all, even her world has patches of radiation from wars ripped all across the globe. Rey has seen her fair share of mutations and the eradication of entire species.
She just waves a dismissive hand, silently disregarding his apology. Besides, he'd probably be more interested in details that are necessary, wouldn't he?
"About a few hours to days. They're finite in numbers, so it's possible to exterminate them completely. Don't think they're capable of breeding, either."
In all of her frequented visits to the caves, she can say that she's never stumbled onto a breeding ground of any sort.
