Kain is still in a defensive posture, poised and ready to strike again. He's never sure who he can trust around here, after all, and must remain wary. His eyes narrow as he watches Yukari closely. All he'd wanted was to send a message, though, to make sure he realizes who he's dealing with.

"As long as you understand that this won't happen again. If you dare go back on your word... you'll answer to me."

This is someone he'll be keeping an eye out for, no matter what happens, regardless. After all, someone who'd viciously attack Rydia is not to be fully trusted.
