It really bothers Kain, of course, unsettling him just a little bit, the attitude that the other is showing. He's not the best when it comes to avoiding manipulation... and he can't help but worry if that's happened now. He can't really tell for sure. He doesn't feel exactly great about this whole thing, though. The situation couldn't be avoided... there was no chance he'd have let it go.

"Fine. As long as there's no future trouble."

He gives him a skeptical look, but there's not much more that he can do at this point... besides have that talk and find out more. With any luck, he can explain his side. And if not... well, maybe he'd just created far more trouble than there needed to be. Sigh.
