Will was being more sheepish than usual. He knew fine well that he'd not only scared Jill with his little antics but that he'd put her in unnecessary danger as well. It wasn't that he'd been avoiding her, it was more that he was scared she'd lash out at him. He'd seen what she'd been up to around the City, and at a guess, he assumed it was all down to Rage's influence. But still, she was a strong woman, he didn't want to get on the wrong side of her.
