[Gitter rained down onto her but her heart was beating hard. A moment before there had been a large animal coming towards her, ready to pounce. There hadn't been time to run or draw the sword but before she had a chance to do anything there was glitter everywhere.
She had to lean against a wall to catch her breath, trying to brush some of the glitter from her hair.
Another appearance of a monster had her drawing the sword Celebrimbor had made her, ready to strike but a moment later and poof! It was gone leaving her standing there holding a sword. It takes her a moment to catch her breath and for her heart rate to slow down, this is going to be a long week for Anne.
But at least she's found herself a new cat friend later in the week. At first the fact that the cat didn't have a face so much as one giant eyeball made her uneasy but it only took a couple days before it was following her around happily.
