Amos, unfortunately is more observant than he's generally given credit for, and after giving Maketh some time to calm down, comes sauntering out himself. He doesn't call out, but one of the nearby jabberjays sees him and sings out a cheerful, "Hey sugar!" in Amos's own tones.

He can't help the sudden snort, and tries to hide his grin behind a hand, in case Maketh is still upset over...whatever had made her shatter the mirror.
