[it's been a long week so far since the news of the infection first broke, but it's generally been a rather satisfying one nonetheless. thom likes feeling like he's doing something worthwhile to help, and even if this isn't like any sort of illness he's ever seen before, his powers have been proving effective enough to at least delay the spread until their spirits could be healed at hope's temple.
(he should probably find out more about all of that, when everything finally manages to calm down, these people calling themselves gods. or at the very least he should ask his roommates a bit more about it all.)
when he crosses paths with sam on the 22nd, the man admittedly looks a bit further along in the process than anyone thom has dealt with on his own before this. that's hardly enough to stop thom from approaching (though perhaps, admittedly, a touch more nervously than any of the previous cases to date).
