Bianca, who feels no particular loyalty to anyone here, has mostly been hiding inside the house no one stopped her and Firo from appropriating. It's a pretty good house - Bianca rather likes the unhumanness of its design and she had no trouble working out how to use the amenities - but her plan of hiding in it till everyone's got over trying to eat each other has two big flaws: Bud and Lou, who still need to be taken out regularly to pee.

She's armed with her staser and a pair of long knives she found in the armory, but Bianca's main defense involves trying to stay out of everyone's way. She's in what she hopes is a fairly un-travelled tunnel, watching Bud and Lou sniff things, when she hears ...something.
