Intro Log: Death Comes

Who: New arrivals and everyone else!
What: The intro log for July.
Where: The colosseum and all around the city.
When: July 10th-15th
Warnings: Deathclaws. That's all you really need to know.

As usual, the new arrivals in Hadriel will be waking up on the dirt ground of the colosseum, and as usual, they won't be waking up alone. This month brings coat hangers of all shapes and, uh, sizes strewn about the colloseum floor around all of the new arrivals.

Get up, get out, meet and greet, find some new exciting interior decorating options, but don't forget about the more prominent threat: the (newly) local deathclaws roaming about in the inner halls of the arena. These deathclaws are vicious bipedal creatures with long arms ending in curved talons, horns ripe for goring and, of course, teeth as long as fingers. These animals have been engineered to be as deadly as they can possibly be, so you might want to buddy up before taking one on.

Have you escaped from the deathclaws? Made a few friends? Not died horribly? Great! Feel free to go explore the rest of the city! Find a house, find a new monster, or simply scavenge for supplies. Good luck, and enjoy your stay in Hadriel!

[ There's a small figure huddled not far from the colosseum entrance, clutching a bloodied arm and breathing slowly through the pain of whatever injury he's incurred. He seems calm enough, focused on the wound, but shouldn't he be running for the clinic? Hmm.

Victor's approach seems almost a surprise, then he takes in the bottle and cloth. ]

No, I'm alright -- I can manage.

[pullback]

You're bleeding, [ Victor stated, as if he's pointing out the obvious. Of course he can't manage, again, he's bleeding. ] I don't have any materials on-hand to stitch up the wound but the least I can do is flush it out and properly bandage it.

[pellameno]

[ He hesitates, then removes his hand and offers the injured limb to the stranger. ]

Alright. If you clean it out I can heal it easier. Thank you.

[pullback]

[ Taking the water, Victor carefully starts to flush out the wound: cleaning it, pausing, dabbing the would dry, cleaning it again, and so on and so forth, methodically trying to get out as much dirt as he can. ]

Apparently there is a clinic around here somewhere. They can stitch together the wound if you are in dire need of help.

[ Pell holds still for the attentions, wincing a bit but watching interestedly. ]

I can heal it myself, once I recover a little. And show you where the clinic is, too.
