Cal;
[Jo realizes that to take Pell up on her offer she probably needs to reconcile with Cal. The most recent cave makeover had definitely not gone well for the two of them. They had been at odds with each other and she was pretty sure they would have to at least tolerate each other if she was going to successfully move in with the har and assuage her loneliness.

She walks to their house, knocking quietly and hoping Cal is actually home. After a moment of thought she calls out.]

Cal?


Pell;

[After her conversation with Calanthe ends she seeks Pellaz out, finding him in a few moments in the kitchen of the house.]

Hey Pell.

[ Pell is, in fact, in the kitchen, and was listening to everything Jo and Cal said. He's smiling gently when he turns towards her. ]

Welcome home, then?

Eavesdropper. [She smiles back, then laughs.]

Which bedroom is the quietest?

[pellameno]

[ Pell laughs softly at that. She probably knows what she's in for already, living with him and Cal. ]

I'd say the one farthest from ours, but George took that one. You probably want the one across the stairs, then... it's upstairs, it used to be Axton's room.

[knifecollecting]

I guess I'll have to figure out some soundproofing. [She laughs quietly, smiling as she does.]

I don't have a lot to move, I won't need any help.

[pellameno]

We're not that bad. [ Except they probably are. ] Anyway, we're glad to have you. Are you sure you don't need a hand bringing stuff over? One trip is better than two.

[knifecollecting]

I guess if you want to help I'm not gonna say you can't. [She smiles fondly as she says it.]

When should I move in?

[pellameno]

Well, now's fine. I don't think there's anything left in that room, I either took everything or gave it away. Axton would have wanted it that way.

I'll double-check before I go get packed. [It can't hurt to do that.]

The hardest stuff to move will be my extra food.
