The doubt of the people makes Maketh question her place; it makes Glacius wonder if it's worth it at all. It undermines those who would want to help, but think that maybe joining the organization is a waste of time or that they're incompetent. Unfortunately, being frustrated -- no matter how human a feeling it is -- doesn't help. They just have to keep doing what's right, and in this case, that'd defending those who need it, even if some of them don't deserve it.
