It's a friendly, comforting gesture, to remind him that he's not alone in this path. After all, she's dealing with her own set of unfriendly reminders that recent events have brought on them all.
"It'll be okay," she tries softly reassuring him. "I've got a good amount of intel from both sides in this. We're not as far in the dark as we used to be."
