...toys? [There's...really not a reason for that is there? They look like something Az might have played with when he was still a harling and that brought up all kinds of things he didn't want to think about. He couldn't afford a breakdown right now--or ever, probably. Still, he bends down and picks up a ridiculous creature and stares at it for a few moments trying to figure out what it is, before he sighs and drops it back on the ground, confused.
They're everywhere and he can't even come up with a reason why they would be. He couldn't even imagine that one person had lost so many of them. Was this some human thing? If so, he could see why they hadn't brought it with them when hara took the world from them.
And it doesn't help with the whole surreal feeling of showing up in the first place.]
2. Colosseum again
[At first Swift is convinced that this whole thing is a dream--what else could it be, right? Turning up in an arena still holding a handful of papers from his office and staring at giant rock monsters Which, admittedly, is not the strangest thing he's ever seen happen, but it's still surreal enough that "dream" is the logical first conclusion.
It's not until he has to dodge the third stony fist thrown in his direction as he tries to get out that he starts to wonder whether this might actually be real. And that thought is even more terrifying. He could actually die and he has no way to stop it except hoping that he's just a little faster.
Of course there's one standing right in front of what looks most likely to be an exit. Just his luck. He stares at it for a moment, but he doesn't have long before it notices him. How is he supposed to get out of this one?]
3. Exploring
[The more he explores outside the colosseum, the more confused Swift gets. A city in a desert? He'd almost believe he'd somehow ended up finding Saltrock except that it was too big. And too...strange. Too hot, too, but from what he'd heard of the place that wasn't all that unusual.
He's too afraid to try beyond the borders--he's got nothing to protect him from the heat or whatever might be out there--so he sticks to the city, taking shade where he can find it until he feels like he can manage walking around a little more, trying to get his bearings and only ending up disoriented, looking for anyone who might be able to give him more information and only getting frustrated. People are probably smarter than he is, though, and are staying inside.

He might have to try that next.]
