Maybe he should have been a little more specific since he can certainly find rocks on his own. And he's gearing himself up to hear more of that when the man actually says something useful and he turns to look back at the arena they'd just come out of for a moment.

He can ask "why" all he wants, but he doubts there's an answer, so he just scowls instead and turns to look at the spires.
