Who: Ignis Scientia (claritatis), Julie Grigio Cabernet (redwinekindofgirl) and Nil (atravellerwithabow).
What: Top levels for the Feb and March events, as and when required.
Where: In the city, outside the city, wherever.
When: Feb/March for the duration of the Kiss Me Kill Me/Field Trip/Flu Season events.
Warnings: Nil.

[Like warping, perhaps? Ignis is fascinated by the existence of magic in other worlds and that it can exist in abundance, for so many to have access to.

He makes a mental note to ask about it later, when he and this gentleman are a little better acquainted.]

Ignis Scientia. ['Of the Lucian Crownsguard' could be added, but it would mean nothing.] A pleasure to make your acquaintance.

[Ignis pauses to add another lump of wood to the fire, then asks--]

You're out here alone?

[ He considers a bow, but that's a bit too ridiculous, especially when he's already sitting — instead, Vax just grins, holds out a hand to shake. ]

Pleasure's all mine, Ignis. Thank you, for letting me share your fire.

[ There's a deep breath at that question. Not by choice, is the immediate response, but it isn't like he can actually say that. Vax pulls his feet in to cross his legs, shrugging as he answers. ]

Not anymore; you're here, aren't you? [ A cheeky grin as he says it, and then he shakes his head. ] Figured I'd set off and see where exactly I'm meant to be living, but it took a bit longer to get anywhere than I expected. I'm used to just... [ A little wave of his hand, a pff noise. Explaining Transport Via Plants is weird. ] Kind of appearing, places.

Seems you had the right idea, coming out with a party like this.

[He takes Vax's hand willingly enough, giving it a small but firm shake. A silent nod is given in response to the thanks, and he settles back into place to toss another stick onto the flames. The fire pops and sends a small puff of sparks upwards into the smoke rising from it.]

I thought it might be wiser than venturing out alone. [Ignis replies, slightly wry. It isn't meant to insult, but he is often blunt without any real malice behind it. Coming out here by himself hadn't been a thing that had crossed his mind even for a moment.]

You'd be welcome to stay with us, I'm sure.

[ There's just a bit of snickering at that — not even close to insulted, in fact fairly pleased to hear it. Vax sighs, leaning back on his hands as he watches sparks dance over the fire. ]

You know, my sister likes to scold me constantly for going off on my own. Suppose there are some things you just don't grow out of.

[ It's also a rather sobering thought, considering..well, everything. Vax shoots him a slightly more morose smile, shrugging one shoulder. ]

Hope you don't mind if I take you up on that, at least for tonight. I'm pretty handy in a fight, but I don't think I'd want to run into any beasts by myself. [ A pause— ] Speaking of, have you seen any trouble out here, yet?
