What: Top levels for the Feb and March events, as and when required.
Where: In the city, outside the city, wherever.
When: Feb/March for the duration of the Kiss Me Kill Me/Field Trip/Flu Season events.

[Carlisle, on the other hand, doesn't hold his tongue in the slightest.]

[Ignis closes his eyes for a moment and takes a breath. In, out, so quietly and professionally that you might never know he was performing a small ritual purely to keep control over his temper.

(Not one easily lost, but when it comes to matters concerning people he cares about, Ignis' fuse can shorten considerably.)]

My thanks for the information, but I believe I'll keep my own counsel. It seems to me that you have made up your own mind about Kate's thoughts on the matter, with little care as to what her opinion might be if it doesn't align with your own.

For a man accustomed to dealing with royalty and visiting dignitaries, Carlisle is little challenge.]

Given the terms we're on, I wouldn't necessarily take that to mean I don't know her better. I'm well aware of her proclivity towards considering the lives of others to be worth giving her own for. I'm afraid you'll be disappointed to find that I share it.

[Ignis smiles, then, sharp as a razor-edge.]

But this is not an argument that I will be drawn into, out of respect for her when she's isn't here to answer for herself. [He makes a small gesture to the mantle in Carlisle's hands.] I only came here for one reason. I imagine you have a lot to think about.

[He mutters that quietly, but perhaps not quietly enough. Still, he doesn't turn to look Ignis in the eye, his own expression twisted with some mixture of despondence and disgust. Had his uncles known it would be the last time they saw him when they left that day? And how long will it be until he opens his eyes for the last time himself? Who will mourn his loss?

He knows. He already knows too well. That is one reason he is always so unsettled by Kate's stance. He has been the one left behind far too many times; it is not the better option, and it is one his partner is damned to all the same.]
