Maybe you explored a bit last month, retrieved an orb or just got lost. Or maybe you were too busy stalking that person you love - no judgment. Well, maybe a little judgment. Whatever went down, it's a new month, and a new chance to explore this strange world you've ended up on. So climb on a motorcycle, grab a friend (and a lot of supplies), and get going! If you leave now, maybe you'll avoid the next awful thing that happens in the city.
Not that there aren't a few awful things that can happen out there, too. You could run out of food. You might lose that compass of yours and never find your way home. You could ride straight into a ditch and blow out all your tires. Or hey, maybe you'll get in a screaming fight with your traveling companions and get left behind. Whoops!
But everything could go great, too. You won't know until you try, and Love still really needs those orbs full of Hope energy. (Hope juice?) You've got a whole month this time, but the day will pass pretty fast under that hot sun. Good luck.► This log covers March 1st-March 31st.

As a matter of fact, I would like it. You wanna be my navigator? I don't think I can hold this thing and drive at the same time.
[He holds out one of the Love-provided compasses.]

[He reaches for the compass and beams.]
I am a terrible navigator I put myself in the wrong places all the time!
[Hayden is extremely excited and pleased and seems to have no idea that maybe that's not something he should admit.]
But it's okay I will put us in the right place for sure.

Awesome. You got supplies or anything?
[Newt sort of just sidesteps Hayden to uh take the motorcycle out of his hands. He opens up the seat and drops his backpack into the storage space below.]

Uh, yeah, dude. We're gonna need supplies if we want to survive out in the desert for a week.
[Newt looks at his backpack... and shrugs. It's probably fine...? Newt wants to get moving before it gets too late in the day, and he packed, like, a crapload of ramen. It's just a week.
He closes the seat and hops onto the bike. Hm. It's been a while since he's had to drive anything, but this looks simple enough.
Unfortunately there's not a ton of room for Hayden? Uh. Well, good thing they're both small.]
Do you want back or front? [In terms of seating arrangements. They're gonna have to motorcycle this.]

[He looks a little guilty. Maybe he shuouldn't have been...so impulsive! But, welp. Too late for that now, maybe. Probably.]
It's okay, I don't eat much. [Wait, a lie.] I mean, I don't need to, since I'm not human. So don't worry about me! I'll take, um...I'll take the back!

[Probably??? He scoots forward so Hayden can climb in behind him.]
Hop on and let's get rolling. You got the compass ready?

[He's stuck on repeat, help. Anyway, he clambers on behind Newt as unobtrusively as he can manage and holds on with one arm. He has a wicked grip for clinging, so he'll be fine. The other hand keeps the compass safe and secure! For how long, no one can really say.]

He kicks off and things are a bit wobbly there for a minute as he tests out the accelerator, and then they jolt forward suddenly. Whoops. After that, Newt sort of gets the hang of it, and they're off! Whee!
Once they get closer to the city's edge:]
Okay, now you have to tell me which direction we're supposed to be going. I'm not gonna be able to see that thing and drive at the same time.
[That's kind of a lie. He could swing it, but he wants to give Hayden something to do.]
