Event Log: A Hope for the Future

What: The event log for the A Hope for the Future event
Where: All over the city!
When: April 15th-April 19th
Warnings: Stealth Rock

It's finally time to reap the rewards you've earned from all that hard work collecting and returning the Hope orbs! Be careful walking the streets during the small earthquakes, but feel free to admire the scenery as your beautiful city reassembles its way back into its former glory.

There are new houses where the destroyed buildings once were, and they're perfect for a single person or pair of lovebirds. In addition, you'll find that the electricity to these new houses, and all other homes and shops in the city is restored. The food is better, the monsters are gone- hey, this city might be livable again!

To cap it all off, we've got a feast waiting for you on the 19th! Come one, come all, and enjoy all of your favorite foods, drinks, and party games. It's been awhile since we've all gotten together to celebrate something good, so get your party on and toss all your troubles away!

[Yukari waltzes his way through the party, trying to find something or someone particularly interesting. Granted, a wide variety of foods are available, and he's thoroughly impressed. He's gone out of his way to try a handful of things that remind him of home and perhaps even some of his childhood days, foods that he might have shared with his mother at one time or another.

Much to his surprise, though, he finds a wonderfully pan-seared swordfish steak, accompanied by cherry tomatoes, basil, lemon, and cooked to perfection. That wonderfully melt-in-your-mouth flavour has Yukari practically on cloud nine. He can't remember the last time he got to eat this delicacy. He carries his own plate with him and is looking for a place to settle down to with a glass of wine to accompany it, when he spots Atem.

Wait, is his King crying? He approaches the Pharoah.]

Atem-sama? Are you alright?

[puzzlingly]

「Meanwhile Atem keeps eating with particular glee, the tears might be getting in the way of the flavor, however. He dries his eyes with the back of his hand. It is when Yukari calls him.」

Hey, Yukari. I am great. Just great.

「He looks down at the burger, and offers it to him.」

Have a bite.

「If Yukari goes for it, it isn't really the best burger in the world, even if it's tasty enough, who knows why the hell Atem is so emotional about it...」
