Event Log: A Hope for the Future

What: The event log for the A Hope for the Future event
Where: All over the city!
When: April 15th-April 19th

It's finally time to reap the rewards you've earned from all that hard work collecting and returning the Hope orbs! Be careful walking the streets during the small earthquakes, but feel free to admire the scenery as your beautiful city reassembles its way back into its former glory.

There are new houses where the destroyed buildings once were, and they're perfect for a single person or pair of lovebirds. In addition, you'll find that the electricity to these new houses, and all other homes and shops in the city is restored. The food is better, the monsters are gone- hey, this city might be livable again!

To cap it all off, we've got a feast waiting for you on the 19th! Come one, come all, and enjoy all of your favorite foods, drinks, and party games. It's been awhile since we've all gotten together to celebrate something good, so get your party on and toss all your troubles away!

[Delmar stands up awkwardly, following the tug of her hands though the height difference makes that somewhat unbalanced.]

Have you ever done any swing dancing, Julie?

Swing dancing? Uh... no.

[But she's grinning, walking backwards with his hands still held in hers.] Show me?

[He's turning an increasingly stronger shade of pink but he doesn't hesitate in following her. He's still not used to people being eager to spend time with him, but he won't pass up the opportunity. Especially not with someone so dear]

You'll have to trust me. It can be quite difficult at the start. But then you get the hang of it.

You sound like you're trying to talk me out of it. [She shoots back, both eyebrows lifting up.]

It won't work. You're committed now.

I would never do that!

[He shakes his head frantically]

I just didn't want to frighten you

Me? Frightened by you? Come on... [She grins at him, swinging their hands from one side to the other.]
