Event Log: A Hope for the Future

What: The event log for the A Hope for the Future event
Where: All over the city!
When: April 15th-April 19th
Warnings: Stealth Rock

It's finally time to reap the rewards you've earned from all that hard work collecting and returning the Hope orbs! Be careful walking the streets during the small earthquakes, but feel free to admire the scenery as your beautiful city reassembles its way back into its former glory.

There are new houses where the destroyed buildings once were, and they're perfect for a single person or pair of lovebirds. In addition, you'll find that the electricity to these new houses, and all other homes and shops in the city is restored. The food is better, the monsters are gone- hey, this city might be livable again!

To cap it all off, we've got a feast waiting for you on the 19th! Come one, come all, and enjoy all of your favorite foods, drinks, and party games. It's been awhile since we've all gotten together to celebrate something good, so get your party on and toss all your troubles away!

Yeah... I never liked it too bitter either, I guess they started making it a little less so when I got to the throne. 「He muses about that as he goes for a few gulps of it.」

Whites, huh? I should have known. I'm more partial to reds... Maybe yours is around here.

「He, unceremoniously, takes her hand and pulls her (gently) to a close by table.」

[it's too late, he's already made an impression and it's an overwhelmingly poor one]

They did? That's considerate of them. [just as they started serving more wines from Highgarden and their Redwyne cousins after Margaery wed King Tommen]

Why, do I seem a white wine kind of girl? [she teases] Perhaps it is? I haven't yet sought out dessert and an Arbor Gold would go well with any of them.

[she giggles and allows herself to be pulled along]

...I think it suits you. It's a little more subtle or something.

「He doesn't quite know.」

What kind of desserts do you like?

「He hardly has a sweet tooth, but maybe she can tempt him a little.」

[yes, she's definitely a white wine kind of girl if only because Cersei was constantly swigging down red]

I like desserts that are cake with fruit topping or filling the best. Strawberries, cherries, apples, almost any kind of fruit will do.

[perhaps she can? she'll do her best!]

「How is that kind? He doesn't know, he's also pretty drunk so he'll just nod at her.」

That sounds really good!

「And there he is trying to find whatever fits that description.」

Yes, I'm hoping that they have fresh fruit here, rather than just orchard fruit or canned.

[she looks around the tables and spots strawberry shortcake. it's nothing like the desserts of Westeros, but it still looks good] How about that? [she points to the shortcake]

[puzzlingly]

Fresh fruit... I haven't had that in so long! 「Those canned peaches his smaller self had, don't quite count.」 We should probably take some food too, just in case.

「The shortcake is noticed and taken from between other strange desserts, then offered at her.」

Now we need to get that wine.

「It's the most important part!」

I've had orchard fruit, but it's not the same. [orchard fruit doesn't look like anything from home. it's tasty, but unusual] How would we take it with us?

[she accepts the shortcake with a smile]

Yes. Now, where would the so-called gods keep such a thing...?

[she's scanning over the nearby tables to no avail]

[puzzlingly]

Hmm, could go home, get a satchel. I already stole a few burgers.

「And other stuff. Probably before he gets more drunk to know where home is.」

Over there, there is a table with drinks. Of all kinds.

「All of them! He points over... there. You know, there. Just a few tables to the right.」

I suppose that would work, as long as the food and drink stay where they are.

[no, getting that kind of drunk is no fun]

Is there? I'll have to have a look.

[she leads him over to the table with the drinks, scanning over the bottles of wine, looking for a familiar vintage]

--oh! There it is. Several bottles of it!
