Warnings: Stealth Rock
It's finally time to reap the rewards you've earned from all that hard work collecting and returning the Hope orbs! Be careful walking the streets during the small earthquakes, but feel free to admire the scenery as your beautiful city reassembles its way back into its former glory.
There are new houses where the destroyed buildings once were, and they're perfect for a single person or pair of lovebirds. In addition, you'll find that the electricity to these new houses, and all other homes and shops in the city is restored. The food is better, the monsters are gone- hey, this city might be livable again!
To cap it all off, we've got a feast waiting for you on the 19th! Come one, come all, and enjoy all of your favorite foods, drinks, and party games. It's been awhile since we've all gotten together to celebrate something good, so get your party on and toss all your troubles away!► This log covers April 14th-April 19th.
► Feel free to make your own logs as well!
► Please tag headers of threads with content warnings where they apply
► Please put your character's name and open/closed in the subject line of your starters!
► If you get hit by levitating rubble or eat a food that wasn't meant for you, please let us know here.

Too much bread?
no subject
[almost petulantly, like a brat. WHY? IS THAT WEIRD?]
no subject
WHEN HE WAS SEVEN.」
Why?
「The pirate can bet there is a slightly diverted tone in his voice.」
no subject
I just don't.
[real answer: because Cora-san didn't and I was impressionable enough at thirteen to make him my whole life and therefore...
Yeah it's really sad when you get down to it.]
Everybody has foods they don't like, right?
no subject
Yeah, that's true.
「Asking doesn't hurt, though.」
It's a bit of a shame, though... There are some from home too.
「Don't mind the nostalgic demeanor. Yugi would have loved them. He eats just another one of those little pieces of heaven. But he goes a little serious after that.」
Say, Law... aren't you tired of all of this...? Of being treated like a guinea pig?
no subject
[murmured into his drink. He feels that so hard]
Pieces are falling into place, though. It's time to take matters into our own hands.
[his vaunted intentions of finding the gods a new food source, of researching the Door and the conflict with the Null, have been backburnered thanks to subsistence-level living. But now Hope is at full power, Sorrow will be returning, they've rescued the renegade Null, and they have luxuries and new houses and everything. Time to stop thinking about fishing enough for everyone to not starve every day and start thinking rebellion.]

He can only assume so much, but their thoughts aren't so different, no. He moves away from the table and more into the shadow where Law probably came from, being careful to look around shying away from unknown faces.」
How?
「He's never been on this side of the fence, he always held the resources, the power and the people (until he didn't). Here, they are but a bitter bunch of individuals who have been held against their will and put under impossible circumstances for far too long.」
no subject
One thing at a time. Lance-ya is working on things. As soon as Sorrow is in any capacity, I'm going to talk to him.
[he's aware that probably won't amount to anything but he's damn tired of sitting back and relying on outdated information told third-hand from people who aren't even in the city any longer]
no subject
「He doesn't seem to have much opinion about that. Or maybe he's just being cagey about it. He can do that too.」
I don't think you're gonna be the only one.
no subject
[he's not living out a life here and then going back to find out Straw Hat has already been the Pirate King for twenty years goddammit]
no subject
You tell 'em, Captain.
no subject
You wanted to know. Now you do.
no subject
I know it's just... Between knowing this is wrong and yet it being all what some have left.
「Some of us.」
I guess this is one of those times when there really isn't any other option left.
no subject
It doesn't have to be. If there's another option, we'll find it. You deserve better than being tormented.
no subject
But those thoughts are quickly tossed back to the back of his mind and he just smiles a little, still not really able to look up at him.」
Something you can see, yet cannot see...
no subject
Law smirks; he never did answer that riddle, did he?]
If the answer's something sappy like 'love' I'm punching you.
no subject
If that's your answer, I guess I cannot stop you. Just... not in the face.
no subject
[does he even have one? He's probably too tipsy to come up with one that sounds like he actually put thought into it.]
When I couldn't sleep out there in the wilderness, I kept thinking about that riddle. I never did solve it to my satisfaction.
no subject
「Can't say he's not curious about what Law might have come up with it. After all, the riddle was made to look beyond what was evident, to give a different perspective to a situation, or reinforce it.」
no subject
[for a man who likes precise answers, boooooo. Good now he's off the hook.]
I've got nothing.
no subject
Don't fret, I was telling it to myself, I guess.
「Can he continue eating his stuff? Yeah, not gonna ask, there he goes.」
